2009 Spring Convocation – 6.2.09-6.6.09
The LUAA is excited to welcome approximately 2,000 new graduates during the 2009 spring convocation ceremonies, including the first graduating class of Laurentian's School of Medicine. Laurentian University's ninth president, Mr. Dominic Giroux, will be installed during the morning ceremony of Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at 10 a.m. You can watch webcasts for each ceremony here.

Alumni Lend a Hand to Help Recruit Students
Alumni were eager to help out during Laurentian's recent effort to increase student enrollment. During recent visits in communities across Ontario, several alumni agreed to host information sessions for Laurentian's prospective students. Students who attended had the chance to win $2000 in tuition fee credits, photos of the winners can be viewed here. A special thanks to the grads who participated in this event.
