ANTR 3207 E - New World Archaeological Culture History

This course explores the cultural history of a specific region of the New World in detail, examining the cultural developments that occurred in the broader context of worldwide changes. Students will read and learn to interpret primary data in the form of site reports and scientific articles. Occasionally the offering may include a field trip to a local archaeological site. Examples of regions studied include: Ontario, the Arctic, Mesoamerica.
