MBA Candidates in Barrie, Ontario

Background

Laurentian University has been offering their MBA program at their main campus in Sudbury since 1983. As of September 2009 the same MBA program has been offered, on a part time basis, at Laurentian’s satellite campus in Barrie.

For the benefit of part time students, who normally hold a full time job, all fall and winter courses are offered at night from 7 to 10 p.m. Each course requires one night per week.

The program is composed of 20 three-credit courses which may be completed in four years on a part-time basis. At present time students who want to take the program on a full time basis should apply to the Sudbury campus.

MBA Admission Requirements

The normal admission requirement for the MBA program includes a four-year university undergraduate degree, with an overall average of at least B (70%), and at least two years of business or employment experience in a decision-making capacity.

Candidates who do not meet the minimum admission requirements may improve their application file and reapply. If you are in such a situation consult our academic advisors on how you may improve your shortcomings.
