The campus of Laurentian University is located on 750 acres of scenic countryside, a seven-minute drive from downtown Sudbury. The land rises in an arc of hills overlooking three lakes. Campus facilities include:

the Arts Building, a Classroom Building, two Science buildings, the J.N. Desmarais Library housing faculty offices, seminar rooms and language laboratories; the Great Hall; the Student Centre; the Ralph D. Parker administrative tower, the Ben Avery Gym and Pool.

There are ample walking, hiking, cycling and cross country ski trails on and surrounding the campus. Laurentian beach is a ten minute walk from the student residences.
