CFEU Student Wins Best Presentation at OEEC
PhD candidate Erik Szkokan-Emilson was recognized as having the best presentation at the Ontario Ecology and Ethology Conference held at Laurentian University, July 14-16, 2010.

Climate Change and Multiple Stressor Interactions
A cornerstone of the science programs at the Cooperative Freshwater Ecology Unit, Laurentian University, is effective collaboration with a wide variety of researchers at other institutions and agencies. The Coop Unit has recently initiated a new research program on the Effects of Climate Change and Multiple Stressors on northern aquatic systems. To maximize the effectiveness of this program we are seeking partners to engage in relevant studies. The Coop Unit has large-scale, long-term datasets for many Boreal Shield lakes, and data collection has been initiated on lakes off the Shield in the far north of Ontario. We can provide datasets for use by interested researchers and will consider requests for partial funding to assist pertinent research projects.
