Allowing Downloads from WebCT by adding it as a “Trusted Site”

In order to allow downloads from WebCT, you’ll have to add it as a “Trusted Site” and then you’ll be able to see your WebCT content.

  1. Go to Internet Explorer, click on “Tools”, then click on “Internet Options

  2. Click on the “Security” tab

  3. Select “Trusted Sites

  4. Click on the “Sites” button

  5. Then type http://webct.laurentian.ca and click on the “Add” button

  6. Make sure that you deselect “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone

  7. Click on the “Close” button

  8. Under the same “Security” tab, you will have to adjust the “Security Level for this zone” by bringing it down to “Medium-Low

  9. Click on the “Apply” button and click on the “OK” button
