Research

The Bharti School of Engineering at Laurentian carries out an extensive range of highly relevant research in the fields of chemical, mechanical and mining engineering. We aim to address the needs of people today, as well helping to shape the future of society.

Ongoing research is often multi-disciplinary, and has the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct, being sure to consider society and the environment in additional to the economy. All three must be encompassed in order to make progress through research outcomes truly sustainable.

Laurentian University enjoys a great rapport with industry, allowing for many joint ventures both in Canada and internationally. Partnerships are not, however, limited to industry, as research continues in many different fields that include work with other research organizations, Universities and government agencies.

As the interests of the chemical, mechanical and mining engineering faculty at Laurentian are very extensive, you are encouraged to look at their individual pages and contact them directly to learn more and discuss opportunities.
