How Do I Get My Student Card?
You will need to get an official Laurentian University Student Card when you start in Sudbury. This can be done at the J.N. Desmarais Library. There you will pick up a form to fill out. You can choose to use the same picture as your Laurentian at Georgian Student Card, or you can choose to have a new picture taken at a small fee. Your new student card will allow you to access everything at the Sudbury campus including signing out library books, access to the gym, and access to residence. If you are a full-time student, your Student Card acts as a bus pass throughout Greater Sudbury. You are also able to put money on your Student Card as part of a meal plan, or for photocopying and laundry.

Where do I Park?
You and your vehicle have officially arrived on the Laurentian University campus… now what? Here are some tips on parking:
- you may park in Lot 4, or use Pay and Display machines in Lots 1 and 5. (see campus map)
- If you are a student and require a parking pass, you need to decide which type of pass you need. Then you can mail a parking application to Parking and Security, or go to Parking and Security during business hours.
If you are living off-campus:
There are several parking lots throughout campus that you may park at with a parking pass. Your pass will designate which lots you are able to park in.
If you are living on-campus:
There is a residence parking lot available only to those living on campus. This parking lot has spaces with plug-ins and without plug-ins.
