The  Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (B.P.H.E.) with a concentreation in Health Promotion is designed to provide future health promoters with the leadership skills required in the fields of health promotion and education. A specialized focus on assessment and techniques in physical fitness, nutrition, stress management, community health, mental health and environmental health issues  provide the student with required competencies.

Students  also have the opportunity to develop the fundamental health and science knowledge required in areas such as pathophysiology, motor learning, ergonomics, functional assessment, adaptive physical education, biomechanics, health promotion in a corporate setting, as well as several health science related courses.  Students can apply for a kinesiology certificate.

Graduates of the HEAL program have traditionally entered the fields of public health, medicine, health administration as well as  physiotherapy and athletic therapy.
