I am the Field Placement Supervisor (FPS), and am accountable to the Director of the Interdisciplinary Humanities M.A. in Interpretation and Values. I am responsible for organizing and coordinating the Humanities M.A. practica, as well as HUMA 5004, GTA/GRA assignments, Language Requirement of the program, Distance Technology components, WebCT course platforms, Website design and updating, and Student Recruitment.

 

I establish placements in community organizations for student practica, oversee student teaching and research assistants and provide on-going assistance and support to students, faculty and the program as a whole.

 

EDUCATION

 

I completed my Master’s in Human Development at Laurentian University. The title of my thesis was "L’impact du licenciement sur le bien-être psychologique: une étude longitudinale".

 

I also completed my Honours Bachelor of Arts at LU, where I was a joint major in "Psychologie" and "Français" . My thesis was entitled "Les mémoires visuelles et verbales: où s e trouve la différence entre les bilingues et les unilingues?"

 

In addition, I hold Certification in Advanced Counseling from the Pastoral Institute of Northern Ontario where I did my internship; Microcomputer Business Applications Diploma from Toronto School of Business; I have also attended Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Technology where I received a Nursing Assistant Diploma (RPN), (Bilingual program); Drug Administration Certificate; as well as a Business Administration Diploma (3 yr. bilingual program)

 

My Licenses include a Class "G" and I am registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
