RESEARCH INTERESTS

My current research centers on identity as determined by such affiliations as gender, race, religion, sexual preference, and physical ability.  Recent publications have been in the areas of performance theory and practice.  Margaret Atwood's oeuvre and its reception continue to provide a major centre of interest. I teach undergraduate courses in modern and contemporary writing and writer's voice.
