Humanities M.A. students have the option of pursuing a thesis stream.

The subject of the thesis will be selected by the student, and must be approved by the program council. Under the supervision of a three-person thesis committee, the student will prepare and submit a written thesis proposal which includes:

- the objectives

- a tentative outline

- a preliminary bibliography

After the approval of the proposal by the Program Council, the student will be permitted to proceed to the writing of the thesis.

Les étudiantes et étudiants du programme peuvent choisir d'écrire une thèse. 

Le sujet de la thèse sera déterminé par l'étudiant ou l'étudiante et devra avoir reçu l'approbation du Conseil du programme. Sous la direction d'un comité de thèse composé de trois personnes, l'étudiant ou l'étudiante préparera et soumettra une proposition écrite comprenant :

- les objectifs

- une description provisoire

- une bibliographie provisoire

Après approbation de la proposition par le Conseil du programme, l'étudiant ou l'étudiante reçoit la permission d'entreprendre la rédaction de la thèse.
