Parking Fees
Parking fees are adjusted annually to reflect the general cost of living increases.
2008-2009 parking fees are:
• Annual fee $180.00
• Daily fee $ 3.00
• Weekly fee $ 18.00
Parking lot Grace period
September
Huntington University parking lots will not be patrolled by parking security during the first week of September to enable students, staff and individuals to make arrangements to purchase parking tickets.
After the parking grace period, both Huntington parking lots will be patrolled by Laurentian University Security and Parking throughout the year.
Meetings and Events
Huntington University has meetings and events held throughout the year (Board of Regent meetings, Convocation, Workshops, summer related events). Huntington University will contact Laurentian University Security and Parking to inform of required grace periods where parking patrols will not occur.
All vehicles require a parking pass to park in either the upper lot of Huntington University (Lot “B”), or the lower lot of Huntington University (Lot “A”).
Parking passes can be purchased at the Reception (Room 101) of Huntington University from the upper lot main entrance. These passes include:
• Annual passes which are available to residents and staff of Huntington University, and anyone who wishes to purchase a Huntington University annual pass once all residents and staff parking has been filled.
• Daily passes which are available at Reception and also at the Library desk accessible from the lower lot.
• Weekly passes which can be purchased at Reception.
Parking passes may be purchased from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, our regular business hours. Individuals wishing to obtain parking passes outside of these hours are encouraged to purchase passes the day before during business hours.
