You may apply to register at our residence if you are a full-time Laurentian student. Huntington provides co-ed accommodation for 167 students. There are 73 double rooms and 21 single rooms, all of which have telephone and Internet access. There are also four kitchens, four common rooms, two exercise rooms, a library and reading room, and a student-run social centre. You have the option of cooking your own food or enrolling in the meal plan offered at the Great Hall of Laurentian University.
Our student council and proctor system play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our residence. We also offer a roster of activities beginning with orientation week, the annual Trek Weekend of canoeing in October, Christmas festivities, a formal at year's end, and a variety of sports. If you wish, chaplaincy services are available to provide counseling on academic and personal matters throughout the year. You will also get to know our Huntington professors if you enroll in our courses!
