International Seminar

This year, Katrina Parent, a 4th year Biomedical Biology student has been selected for the Seminar and she will be travelling to Vietnam for 6 weeks:

"I am VERY excited to have been given this opportunity. It is definitely going to be an amazing experience and I am fully prepared for it to change my outlook on life and how we live in Canadian society. Personally, I know I will experiences challenges while I am there, and hope to come out of this experience that much better and stronger. I am excited to meet new people and network with other like minded individuals, both my fellow Canadians that will be going, as well as the Vietnamese students and individuals. I look forward to putting my skills and abilities to the test and hope to gain insight into both the world and myself. I know this experience is going to change the way I think and act, and will encourage me to appreciate all the things in my daily life. I hope to bring everything I learn from this experience into every aspect of my life; personally, academically, and professionally. "
