Anglican Church Records

Preamble

Laurentian University Archives has in its holdings records from the  Anglican Diocese of Moosonee (PDF icon , 27K) . Although we do hold other records from the Diocese of Moosonee, this only addresses those requests seeking access to parochial records.

In an effort to ensure preservation of their records, and to facilitate access to these,  the diocese has deposited their records at Laurentian University Archives.  Laurentian University Archives is providing access under the policies and conditions stipulated by the Diocese of Moosonee.

You will find the following information which applies only to parochial records:

These are the only records located in the Archives depository, with information that could be relevant for genealogy purposes. If you are enquiring about any other records or publications (census, microfilms of newspapers or books) pertaining to genealogical research, please refer to the online catalogue or reference desk or reference email.
