Work prospects

Anthropology undergrads who acquire a double major greatly increase their probability of finding work.  Other social sciences like sociology, psychology, and political science are strong additions to an anthropology degree.  Biology is also becoming an increasingly popular double major.

Currently the demand for anthropologists is increasing, particularly for cultural resource specialists.  Growing demand also exists in the health care field as anthropologists are becoming a staple in developing international programs.
