What Can I Do With A Ph.D. In Biomolecular Sciences?

The Department of Science and Engineering offers a four year Ph.D. program in Biomolecular Sciences.  The program covers two broad areas of science including cell regulation and the structure and function of biomolecules.  Applicants are selected on a case by case basis, subject to the potential for advanced research, recommendations, professional experience, and publication record.  Students will conduct research under faculty supervision, present their work in regional, national or international meetings, and publish their findings in peer reviewed journals.  Please see the link below for further information on the program, admission, and courses.

Note:  Students must complete a comprehensive examination within two years after entry into the program.  The completion and defense of a thesis is required.  The minimal annual stipend for students enrolled in the Ph.D. program is $20,000.
