What Can I Do With A Degree In Midwifery?

The Midwifery Education Program is four years in duration and leads to a Bachelor of Health Science.  Participants have the opportunity to study alongside other students in health disciplines such as nursing, social work, health promotion, and medicine.  Courses provide practical experience through internships, involvement in program committees, community public relations, and more.  The operating mandate is to provide northern residents the opportunity to study midwifery in preparation for practice in northern rural and remote communities.  The program is offered in French and English, however students in the French Stream must be bilingual.  Please see the Midwifery webpage below for further program details.
