Rooted in the natural setting of the Canadian Shield, among freshwater lakes and pristine woods rests our park-like campus. The breathtaking wilderness and tranquil environment provide a scenic backdrop for a landscape of learning.

A community within itself, the Laurentian University campus includes northern Ontario’s largest library with more than one million holdings, electronic information systems, a Branch Research Data Center, and a new Learning Commons to house student services.

The 750-acre campus boasts 35 kilometers of wooded trails, a private beach, an Olympic-size pool, a full-service amphitheatre used extensively for plays and concerts, a planetarium, two daycare centers, up-to-date computer laboratories connected by a wireless network, and seven modern residences, each designed to suit your needs.
