Dr. Nancy Lightfoot is an epidemiologist trained in community health. Some of her current studies include studies of mortality and cancer incidence in mine workers; the impact of the determinants of health on prostate cancer progression and survival; a qualitative study to determine cancer research priorities in Aboriginal communities in NEO and optimal research methods; and a qualitative study about what external researchers and Aboriginal communities need to know about working together.
Interests

The impact of long distance travel for chronic disease care; Occupational health related to resource industries; Environmental, community, and Aboriginal health; Risk factors related to chronic disease development; Evaluation of quality of worklife; and Research methodology, chargée de cours, BSS, MSS, doctorante en Sciences de l’Éducation (U.
