Nancy Lightfoot, Director and Associate Professor B.Sc. (Microbiology), M.Sc. (Microbiology), Ph.D. (Community Health - Epidemiology) School of Rural and Northern Health/École de santé dans les milieux ruraux et du nord
Dr. Nancy Lightfoot is an epidemiologist trained in community health. Some of her current studies include studies of mortality and cancer incidence in mine workers; the impact of the determinants of health on prostate cancer progression and survival; a qualitative study to determine cancer research priorities in Aboriginal communities in NEO and optimal research methods; and a qualitative study about what external researchers and Aboriginal communities need to know about working together.
