GENERAL PARKING INFORMATION
The following information is provided for your assistance in determining where you may park, where you may obtain a permit, and the parking regulations that apply.
Parking regulations are established under the authority of the Advisory Committee on Parking and Traffic to encourage the safe, orderly, and equitable use of the limited number of parking spaces available. Fines and penalties will be imposed if the regulations are violated.
Parking services at Laurentian University are coordinated by the Department of Physical Plant Planning. The Parking office, located in the Maintenance and Security Building, will handle all permit sales.

All Laurentian University Security Officers have been authorized to issue By-Law infraction notices on Laurentian property. This means that persons receiving an infraction notice will have to attend at the Provincial Offences Office at 178 Elm Street to either pay or contest their infraction notice. Payment can also be made on line or mailed into their office.
Please note that the number of restricted parking spaces available is limited, and that a waiting list is maintained in the Parking office.
VISITORS may use Lot 4, Pay and Display machines at Lot A,B,C and D or parking meters at the B.F. Avery Physical Education Centre.
A daily, monthly, semester, or yearly parking pass may also be purchased from the Parking office.
Application forms are available from the Parking office. Permits will be issued only after the application has been completed and returned to the office.
Applicants may be required to provide their identification and vehicle registration certificate.
All lost or stolen permits must be reported immediately to the Parking office. A nominal fee will be charged for replacements.
Change of information: Permit holders must inform the Parking Department within ten (10) calendar days of any change in the information provided in their application.

Full-time faculty and staff have the option of payroll deduction.
