Michael Babechuk, MSc candidate, joined the group after gaining experience in experimental biogeochemistry at the University of Windsor. He hopes to expand his problem-solving and analytical geochemistry skills during his time here. Michael is interested in the chemistry of the Earth’s mantle throughout geologic history and the chemical fingerprints created during different geodynamic processes such as crust formation and dehydration of oceanic basalt at subduction zones.
