Claire Kamber, volunteer extraordinaire, initially trained as a cartographer but now works on our highest accuracy and precision projects. Her attention to minute detail along with a desire to achieve high standards, have provided a role in maintaining accuracy for sample weighing–in and solution dilution. By picking minerals and preparing mounts she is also demonstrating that only one year of chemistry at high school does not put you at a disadvantage in the pursuit of geochemical fingerprinting.
