2010 Laurentian Exploration
March 11, 2010

Sudbury (Ontario) - The Laurentian University Liaison Team is preparing for the 2010 Laurentian Exploration. On March 15, 17 and 19, they will be welcoming more than 1,000 future students and parents on campus, who are traveling from all corners of the province and the country to experience what a day is like at Laurentian University.

The three-day event consists of campus tours as well as convivial faculty meetings where future Voyageurs have the opportunity to talk and ask questions to students, professors and chairs of their academic department of interest.

Patrick Lafontaine, manager of Liaison Services, is confident that students will not only leave the campus well-equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in their studies, but  also with the assurance that Laurentian University and Sudbury are a smart choice for post-secondary education.

Note to media members:

Members of the media are welcome during the Opening ceremonies, which will be held at 9:30 am each morning in the Great Hall.  This is the best time for you to meet and talk to the Liaison Services Team and students.  Please note that Monday, the 15 is entirely in French; Wednesday the 17 and Friday the 19 are in English.

For more information, please contact Liaison Services at (705) 673-6594.
