
On May 28, 2009, Laurentian University and Collège Boréal signed five new articulation agreements that will increase opportunities for health studies in French and will facilitate student mobility between both institutions. Mr. Dominic Giroux, president of Laurentian University, speaks of the importance to collaborate with other institutions to develop programs in French at the signing of five new articulation agreements between LU and Collège Boréal. The two institutions announced agreements between the Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies (3 or 4 years) and the following five programs at Collège Boréal: 1) sports and recreation management, 2) dental hygiene, 3) massage therapy, 3) paramedics, and 5) practical nursing.
