PhD candidate Alain Gauthier successfully defended his thesis on Friday, August 21, 2009. Dr. Gauthier presented his thesis research entitled “Examining Physical Activity among Northeastern Ontario Francophones: Do Language and Geography Matter” to an audience of approximately 25 faculty, staff and supporters. He is the first graduate from the School of Rural and Northern Health at Laurentian University. He will participate in the convocation ceremony on October 31, 2009. Le 21 août 2009, Alain Gauthier a défendu sa thèse de doctorat avec succès. Monsieur Gauthier a présenté sa recherche de thèse intitulé «Examining Physical Activity among Northeastern Ontario Francophones: Do Language and Geography Matter» à une audience d'approximativement 25 membres de la faculté, le personnel et des supporteurs. Il est le premier diplômé de l'École de Santé dans les milieux ruraux et du nord à l'Université de Laurentienne. Il participera à la collation des grades le 31 octobre, 2009.
