Welcome
As Vice-President of Francophone Affairs, Research and Graduate Studies, I welcome you to Laurentian University on the eve of our 50th anniversary. Laurentian is a bilingual and tricultural university with a mission to ensure that students have access to a quality education in French. Laurentian’s four main objectives are to become a university with a strong national reputation, become a university of choice and be a university that promotes strong student commitment, in addition to being closely linked to the community we serve.
Among these, you will find information on the Council of French-language programs, the various organizations with whom we have partnered as well as links to universities that are a part of the Consortium des universités de la francophonie ontarienne and other associations of the Francophonie’s universities.
Furthermore, I encourage you to visit Laurentian University’s main site, where faculty and students alike will find information on our programs, awards, activities, and more.
