Accessibility Services is located in the Learning Commons and provides assistance to students with specific requirements such as counselling, advocacy, study skills and numerous technical aids. In August, the one-week summer institute is offered free of charge to students with learning disabilities.
Office staff encourage awareness of various disabilitles, continue to promote innovation on campus, educate the community in regards to issues of accessibility and help students self-advocate and develop skills for a self-sufficient lifestyle.

As well, staff are advocates within the community for individuals with disabilities and are overseeing Laurentian's implementation of standards under the Accessibility for Ontarios with Disabilities Act (AODA) which includes the formation of the Annual Accessibility Plan which continues to explore Laurentian's commitment to accessibility on campus and offers reccomendations for continued improvement.
