Specialization in Religious Studies (60 cr)
General Notes: Admission to all RLST fourth year courses depends upon prerequisites. It is essential that you consult the information on prerequisites (below) and/or contact the Chair of the Joint Department of Religious Studies.
No one is permitted to take more than 6 credits of first year Religious Studies.
First Year
6 credits required from the following:
RLST-1005 - Religion and Roots
RLST-1106 - Religion for the New Generation I
RLST-1107 - Religion for the New Generation II
Second and Third Years
30 credits required in RLST. These must include 6 credits in each of the three Study Areas (Judeao-Christian Tradition, Religions of the World, Religion and Modern Culture)
Fourth Year
24 credits in RLST, including at least 12 credits from the 4000* series.
Note: Students must complete at least 6 credits of 3000 series courses during the program.
Major in Religious Studies (42 cr)First Year
