Did You Know

There are more than 300 freshwater lakes, 15 golf courses, and 1,300 kilometres of groomed hiking, skiing and snowmobile trails with the City of Sudbury. The jewel of the city is Bell Park, an urban park that features a two-kilometre boardwalk that surrounds one of the lakes in the heart of the city.

With a vibrant natural resource sector, Sudbury host several research centres and museums, including the SNOLAB, Science North and Dynamic Earth.

Sudbury is home to several concerts and festivals, including a renowned film festival, and The Northern Lights Festival Boréal, the longest running bilingual festival in the country.

Junior hockey, French and English theatre and lively restaurants, bars and clubs, such as the Laughing Buddha and Respect is Burning, make for a vibrant nightlife.

If that is not enough, there are nine provincial parks within a 90-minute drive!
