The Fresh Food Co. experience is based on the principle of all-you-wish-to-eat dining which means every client leaves satiated. Meal plans, mandatory in several of our residences, will also be available for those who wish to take advantage of our flexible plans which take into account a wide range of appetites, but always deliver on value.

Marché-style dining allows patrons to serve themselves at will, sit and enjoy the fresh fare. It also means no take-out is permitted, something you’ll soon appreciate in the ambiance of the dining hall. Comprehensive meal plan options are available to make the most of the Fresh Food Co.’s offerings.
When will the new meal plan programs come into effect?
Effective September 1, 2014, as the Fresh Food Company opens its doors in the current Great Hall location, meal-plan options will be reflective of the new Marché-style fare at Laurentian.

Meal plans provide for cost savings on each one of your meals, fast and convenient service at the cash, greater and fresher food variety through bulk purchase and guaranteed meal output. In addition, marché-style dining at the Fresh Food Company guarantees you will leave satisfied with its all-you-wish-to-eat service approach.
What is the time limitation on my meal plan?
Mandatory meal plans at designated residences are valid for the current academic year, beginning the first week of September to end of April. Voluntary meal plans do not expire and will be honored to the extent of the purchase agreement.
What will be the average price at the Fresh Food Company Outlet?
Without a meal plan, the cost of breakfast at the Fresh Food Company -
Breakfast : $8.23, lunch: $10.84 and Dinner: $12.02, plus applicable taxes.
What are Flex Dollars?
Flex Dollars on a Meal Plan work like a debit card. On a purchase the total price is subtracted from the balance on the card until depleted.
Where can I use my Flex Dollars?
Flex Dollars can be used at any ARAMARK food service location on campus, including Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Subway, Alumni Hall, Alphonse Raymond Dining Hall, Cafe Bistro, C-Store.
What are guest passes?
Guest passes purchased on mandatory meal plans allow you to treat a friend, family member or guest. A simple swipe of your meal plan card will ensure your company is covered.
Where can I purchase my meal plan?
If you’re a student residing on campus at Single Student, University College, West or East residence complexes, you will select your meal plan during the application process and it will automatically be billed and set up for your account. If you need to make changes, or have questions, you can visitthe Housing and Food Services office in West Residence, W-120.
If you are a student residing at the Mature Student, Huntington, University of Sudbury (Lucien Matte) or Thorneloe residence complexes, you can purchase your meal plan directly from Aramark Services located at the Great Hall main office, or by calling 705-673-6559

$300 Flex Dollars + Block of 30 Fresh Food Co. meals
** Dollar for dollar flex dollars can be added to any Fresh Food Co. meal plan. Your flex dollars can be used at any of the following locations on campus: Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Subway, Alumni Hall Dining, Alphonse Raymond Dining, East Residence Café Bistro, C-Store.
*While MSR, Huntington, University of Sudbury (Lucien Matte), and Thorneloe residences are excluded from the mandatory meal plan provisions, all students can take advantage of similar discounted meal plan options on a voluntary basis.
