Specialization in Environmental Studies (60 cr.)

Students have the option of selecting electives of their choice or completing an environmental studies stream by completing 15 credits accordingly to Table 3 in one of:

    • Resources, Population and Development
    • The Built Environment and Health
    • Representations and Communications for the Environment

 

1st Year

ENVI-1406 - Earth's Environmental Systems

ENVI-1507 - Intro to Environmental Studies

 

6 credits from either:

PHIL-1115 - Introduction to Philosophy

ENGL-1705 - Introduction to Writing and English Studies

ENGL-1540 - Academic Reading and Writing in English

 

18 elective credits

 

We suggest in selecting their elective courses that students select from the courses in Table 1 which are pertinent to the program and help fulfill prerequisites for upper year course selections.
