The Radiation Therapy program teaches students about the treatment of cancer and other diseases using radiation in the form of x-rays, gamma rays and electrons. Radiation therapists work as a vital part of a cancer treatment team to administer the prescribed radiation treatment with care, compassion and respect.

Admission Interview
For consideration of admission to the program, applicants that meet the OUAC requirements will be considered for an interview. The interview will be conducted by staff from Laurentian University, The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences and the Northeast Ontario Regional Cancer Centre. Those applicants who are successful in the interview will be considered for admission. Interviews for the 2013 September intake are expected to occur in February/March 2013. (Date to be announced)
