Overview

• Focus on animal diversity, form, physiology and change in chemical, botanical, ecological, geological and historical contexts

• Students learn about animal development (embryology), the tissue level (histology), evolution (comparative chordate anatomy), genetics, behaviour and ecology, including population ecology

• Fieldwork and hands-on biology, such as specimen collection and identification, dissection and preparation (including taxidermy and drawing)

• 1 English or 1 Français (depending on language of study)

• 1 advanced functions

• 2 sciences or 1 science + 1 math

• 2 other courses

• Minimum average of 70%
