Overview

The Department of Sociology offers a program in public health in French only, a new three or four-year undergraduate degree that examines health through the prism of social sciences and humanities while allowing students to specialize either in health policy or public health.

As part of the academic requirements, students will acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and skills as well as training in research related to health. In addition, students may have the opportunity for a placement with a Francophone community organization working in the area of health promotion and disease prevention in the region.

This program is offered only in French.
