What is your proudest academic achievement?
My proudest academic achievement would be my acceptance to the Northern Ontario School of Medicine last year.
What is your proudest athletic achievement?
My proudest athletic achievements would be being named Assistant Captain in my last year with the Lady Vees as well as receiving an OUA second team all-star this year.
What is your most memorable community related moment?
My most memorable community related moment would be my time spent coaching my 1997 Greater Sudbury girls’ soccer team. It has been a blast working with the coaching staff, players, and parents throughout the last two seasons. Their drive for success has been very inspiring and I find myself very fortunate to be a part of such as great team. They have made my transition from player to coach a breeze.
What woman has most influenced you, and why?
My mother has been one of my greatest influences in my life. Since I was little she has always helped me to achieve my dreams. She has dedicated countless hours to my soccer career from driving me to Toronto every weekend when I was young to sitting an hour and a half in the rain and cold to watch me play. Through it all, she has always been one of my biggest supporters but also my toughest critic. Her dedication to my success fueled my passion for soccer. Now that my soccer career in the OUA has come to an end, I wish to pass along her dedication and support to others and hopefully inspire them as much as she has inspired me to be the best I can be.
