Overview

This theatre degree is a multi-disciplinary university program combining practical and scholarly components in theatre arts. The program provides recognized drama training, enriched by many courses from the departments of French studies, history, and philosophy. Through its emphasis on experimentation and dramatic play, the program reinforces critical and analytical skills, while enhancing students’ francophone language and cultural appreciation. The 120-credit Bachelor of Fine Arts with specialization in Theatre is unique since it combines three teachable subjects (theatre arts, French, history or philosophy) recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
