Provides an overview of structural, feminist and anti-racist approaches to social work practice. The emphasis is on making the links between structural analysis and social work practice. The course explores issues related to anti-discriminatory practice, the intersection of multiple oppressions and different strategies for social work intervention. PREREQ: SWLF 2106, SWLF 2107 & SWRK 2315 (may be taken concurrently with director?s permission). (lec 3) cr 6
