Biomembranes, Structure and Function
Course Description
A discussion of the structure and function of membrane systems, such as myelin, plasma, mitochondrial, chloroplast and bacterial membranes. Examines the dynamic aspects associated with membranes such as transport of ions and metabolites, the transduction of energy and receptor-effector interactions. PREREQ: CHMI 3226. (lec 3) cr 3
