This course explores the cultural history of a specific region of the New World, examining the cultural developments that occurred in the broader context of worldwide changes. Emphasis is placed on the interpretation of primary data in the form of site reports and scientific articles. Occasionally, the offering may include a field trip to a local archaeological site. PREREQ: ANTR 2095 or 30 university credits. (lec 1, sem 2) cr 3.
