This course investigates the performance history of several of Shakespeare's plays (to be determined yearly, partially based on plays viewed on an annual Stratford trip), and discusses directorial, design, and performance aspects which inform the productions. The course focuses on stage performance history. PREREQ: ENGL 3125 or THEA 2247 or THEA 3187. (lec/sem 3 and participation in Stratford trip) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for both THEA 4366 and THEA 3366.
