This course consists of an introduction to microorganisms, the principles of medical microbiology, basic immunology, and a survey of infectious diseases that emphasizes causative agent, symptoms, chemotherapy, and prevention. This course is only available through Continuing Education. cr 6 Exceptionally, students in the BSc Biology programs may take this course for credit if they have received prior permission from the Department.
