This course is an introduction to the field of microbiology, with emphasis on the bacteria. Topics include classificatiion, morphology and structure, and physiology and growth of microorganisms. PREREQ: BIOL 1506/1507 or grade 12U level Biology for non-Science students. (lec 3, lab 3) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for BIOL 2026 and either BIOL 2111 or BIOL 3025.
