I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and a Staff Psychologist in the Eating Disorder Program at Health Sciences North where I conduct research. I teach Social Psychology and Clinical Psychology at the undergraduate level, and Psychological Disorders and Psychotherapy at the graduate level. I am also the MA Practicum Co-ordinator.
My research interests are primarily related to stress, emotion and disordered eating. I have a particular interest in the role of families in the treatment of eating disorders. My secondary research interests include bilingual literacy development and processes, in particular reading, spelling and reading comprehension.
