Emily has been a faculty member in the Laurentian University School of Nursing for over 15 years . She has taught as a clinical instructor, faculty advisor, course professor and has been in the role of Undergraduate Program Coordinator and also Collaborative Coordinator for the Northeastern Collaborative Nursing Program.
Prior to teaching, she had worked as a staff nurse.

Research Focus
Continued areas of research interest include: complementary therapies in health care, self-directed learning, blended and technology enhanced learning, and inter-professional education.
