Before being appointed Director of the School of Rural and Northern Health on July 1, 2011, Elizabeth served as Interim Research Director of CRaNHR from April 2010 to June 2011. She joined the School of Rural and Northern Health at Laurentian University in 2007 where she teaches in the Interdisciplinary PhD Program in Rural and Northern Health.

Research Focus
Elizabeth's research interests lie in the areas of physician performance, continuing medical education/professional development, health human resources planning, and professional governance.
