I commenced my degree in 1970 at Nipissing College in North Bay. I completed my degree at Laurentian in the Department of Psychology in 1974. I moved on to Lakehead and completed my MA in 1976. I was accepted at several Universities for my Ph.D. but decided on Windsor because it was diverse and small in size. Upon receiving my Ph.D. I commenced a one year contractual position as Assistant Professor at St.Mary's Univeristy in Halifax. Upon completion of the contract, I moved to Bishops University on another one year contractual position in the Department of Psychology. I learned of a Forensic Psychology Position opening at the North Bay Psychiatric Hosptial and accepted employment in 1980. I then assisted in developing the Forensic Evaluation Unit. In 1981, I was asked to apply for a position at Laurentian University, teachng and doing research at Laurentian and working as a Clinical Psychologist at Cecil Facer School in the Assessment/Counselling unit with youth. When the contract with Cecil Facer ended, I was accepted full time employment in the Psychology department. Have been a professor from 1981 to the present time.
