Research Focus My research projects fall into two broad categories; religion and intergroup relations and a positive psychology approach to everyday mental health. The first is my primary research area. My main focus is methods of decreasing religious prejudice. Other research interests within this area include: intergroup relations, dimensions of religiosity, intergroup intimate relationships, relationship satisfaction, religious identity, cultural identity, rumination, and thought suppression.

The second area, a positive psychology approach to everyday mental health, consists of my collaborative work with Dr. Chantal Arpin Cribbie. This research deals primarily with coping with perfectionistic concerns.
