Dr. Zhibin Ye is a Full Professor of Chemical Engineering and a Canada Research Chair at Bharti School of Engineering of Laurentian University (Sudbury, Canada), with a cross appointment to Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. He received his B. Eng. (1996) and M.Eng. (1999) degrees from Zhejiang University (Hangzhou, China), and his Ph.D. degree (2004) from McMaster University (Hamilton, Canada), with all in chemical engineering. He started his independent academic career as an Assistant Professor at Laurentian University in 2004, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2009 and Full Professor in 2012. He is a recipient of Ontario Premier's Early Researcher Award (2007), Canada Research Chair (2011), and the inaugural Faculty of Science & Engineering Research Excellence Award (2011).
